What you need to know :

Before Being Booked:
You must know that we only book in gigs for Saturday's and the first and last Sunday of each Month. 
Please contact us with the ideal dates you wish to play and we will see if we can fit you in ! 
Note that when choosing dates, please have more than one possiblity in mind. This helps makes our life a little easier.   :)

Nearly all our events are FREE entry:
Saturday night bands don't get paid unfortunately because we don't charge the punters a single penny to get in so we usually have a
large crowd of people watching them and that gives a good exposure to all bands involved AND A BETTER ATMOSPHERE!

We Do Provide:
One exciting drinks voucher per band member playing Saturday nights.

Our Promotion:
We are a pro-active promotions company and will actively promote all gigs held at the " Coventry Mint".
The Mint's capacity where the bands play, is officially 120 guests.

Bands Self Promotion:
It helps if you also do as much self-promotion for your gig as possible. Why not let your fans/friends know you are playing by using the world wide web!
and to coin an old cliche "the more the merrier" would be good to see.

We can get stickers - t-shirts and and flyers printed for you at cost. If your interested let us know in advance !


Booking:

In your e-mail to us please include:
Contact names - Bands name - Phones/ Mobiles numbers - e-mail addresses - And any links to your music, myspace / website / facebook you think we should look at when making our discussions on who should play.

Once You're Booked:

On The Day:
Please be our guests to turn up at the venue nice and early, we will need all bands there for 7pm for soundchecks.
Please don't turn up late. 

Headlining Bands need to be at the venue at 6:30pm.
this is so we can get the drum kit miked up beforehand and discuss the night events.

How The Nights proceed:
One band (usually headlining) needs to bring the backline, drums, drum mat and bass amp. 
Every band needs to bring their own drummer's breakables including cymbals, bass pedal etc... and also guitar amps!

If your booked up to play and discover you can't play for any reason large or small, you must let us know ASAP.

Restrictions of play!

We are sorry but we can not allow bands to play with members under the age of 18 years, its againts the law!
We are a city centre PUB and are licenced as such.
We like to showcase local talent so we offer limited slots to out-of-town bands.
That's just the way we roll !
